This is the 30 day sun salutation accumulator challenge. To take part all you need to do is carve out a little bit of time everyday to practice sun salutations. We start on day 1 with 1 salutation and each day we add one on. This means by the end of the 30 day challenge we will be attempting 30 sun salutations!!! You can do any variation of a sun salutation, mix it up and so different ones each day. If you hit your limit you don’t have to stop the challenge. Keep practicing each day as many as you can do. Remember you can adjust your practice for your body. WHY ARE WE DOING THIS? This challenge will obviously help you build strength, fitness and improve flexibility, but it is more than that. This is about forming and building a daily habit of practice. It is not about perfection, but instead showing up on your mat and doing the work even though you know it’s going to be hard. This is tapas (the yogic practice of discipline and determination). Doesn’t matter when you do this. First thing in the morning, on your lunch break or in the evening. It is about getting the work done. Right... let’s do this!
